I'M TAYLOR
A real human living in Edinburgh, Scotland. If you live here, too, you might see me walking my dog or something.
I have worked in the field of mental health for 9+ years in various roles (student, researcher, writer, support group facilitator, lecturer, and therapist) as well as in various countries (USA, Australia, England, and Scotland). I've worked for charities, universities, in the private sector, and for the NHS.
I love this work. I love being a therapist. Alongside my private practice Just Human Therapy, I write about women's experiences, how to honour our full humanity, and I support other therapists. This work is important to me, because I think people matter, I think having a space for ourselves can be life changing, and I want to provide a space and a service that reflects that.
“How much of life have I missed, he wondered, simply by failing to look? Or by looking and not seeing?”
Irvin Yalom
